This weekend's recipes:
Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes (there are over 300 comments on the recipe blog decrying the name as offensive. Apparently Irish Car Bombs are an American invention and if you order one in Belfast you might get punched in the face). But I just can't bring myself to call them "beer and whiskey" cupcakes, ew!
I almost decided to make Shepard's Pie before I realized it's a dish that's English in origin. Would almost be fitting since I recently discovered that I am actually part Scots Irish (ORANGE IRISH!). But in an effort to be true to the roots I've always claimed (Green Irish!) I'm making Colcannon.
