Things I will miss about Broom Street

Bike rides home at 1 am after a long night of studying

My favorite neighbor who always coos at me when he sees me dressed up

Living three doors from Katy, perfect for outfit-second-opinions, borrowing things, impromtu porch hangout sessions

Living superclose to the Capitol bars and the Great Dane

Having a dishwasher

The front stoop that is 1.5 inches taller than all the other steps and tripped everyone at least once, if not multiple times

The #82 bus driver, whose unfailing routine presence in my life was a calming constant at the end of a crazy day

Biweekly car accidents at the corner of Wilson and Broom

My perfect 2.5 mile running route with minimal stoplights

The great dane that is larger than his tiny, tiny owner

The plaid outfit man [he's new, he just appeared a few weeks ago, and I have never seen him NOT in a mismatched plaid outfit from head to toe]

The nastygrams at 8 a.m. Monday mornings from the Wisconsin Bar Association everytime I forgot I parked my car in their lot on the weekend

Electric Earth and their hummus bagel, which I always had to get on cinnamon raisin bagels because they were always out of the other kinds

Thermostat wars with the roomies in January (77, 71, 78, 69, 79, 70, 76, 72, 72, 73, 73, 73, hey I think we have a compromise)

AND last but not least, living with the one and only Bobbi Jo, who has never ceased to crack me up, and has been an absolutely perfect roommate, despite some drama along the way and a few 3 am parties when I had to get up at 5 am the next morning.
